Promoting Agro-tourism through Integrated Farming
Integrated Farms Uganda is promoting Agro-tourism with an objective of sharing information and experiences on the concepts of regenerative agriculture and agroecology for improved food security, livelihoods and community resilience to climate change impacts.
Our ambition is to see how Agro-tourism can be better aligned with farming activities, associated regeneration, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable management of the environment and natural resources for greater benefits to smallholder farmers and contribution towards regenerative economic transformation at different scales i.e. village, community, local, national and international levels.
Integrated Farms Uganda is working in collaboration with like-minded partners such as: Agro-Tourism Association; Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industries and Fisheries; Uganda Wildlife Authority to drive this ambition.
